LRTA Shuttle Service to the Folk Festival Area

Free Folk Festival Bus Schedule
Shuttle service will be provided form the LRTA Kennedy Center/Gallagher Terminal to the Folk Festival area at the following times.

FRIDAY, JULY 28
NOON-10:30 PM
10:30 PM WILL BE THE LAST BUS TO THE KENNEDY CENTER

SATURDAY, JULY 29
11:00 AM TO 10:30 PM
10:30 PM WILL BE THE LAST BUS TO THE KENNEDY CENTER

SUNDAY, JULY 30
11:00 AM TO 7:00 PM
7:00 PM WILL BE THE LAST BUS TO THE KENNEDY CENTER

Parking is available at LRTA Gallagher Terminal Parking Garage
115 Thorndike Street, Lowell, MA
Hourly Parking Fees Will Apply

If you are using the MBTA Train, please coordinate with the MBTA schedule.
You are responsible for knowing the MBTA schedule.

Parking Information for Lowell Folk Festival Weekend

New this year is event parking on specific event rate streets listed below. The rate is $5 and can be paid via the Passport Parking App or at a nearby kiosk. Event rate is only available on streets listed below, while all other on-street parking will have standard parking rates enforced on Saturday, with an emphasis on crosswalks, intersections, fire hydrants, and parking on bridges.

Special Event Parking Areas and Fees/Rates:

A "Special Event Parking Fee" will be in effect on Friday, July 28, beginning at 5:00PM, until Sunday, July 30, at 5:00PM.

Ayotte, Downes, HCID, Leo Roy: $20

Lower Locks, Davidson Lot, Early: $15

On-Street Parking:

Special Event On-Street Parking Fee of $5 will be in effect on the following streets beginning Friday, July 28, beginning at 5:00PM until Sunday, July 30, at 5:00PM. Payments will be accepted each day on the Passport App and at the kiosks.
