The countdown to the Lowell Folk Festival is officially on! To help kick off the excitement, Festival Director Lee Viliesis and acclaimed Puerto Rican cuatrista and singer Fabiola Méndez recently stopped by Boston Public Radio, broadcasting live from the GBH Studio at the Boston Public Library.
They shared an exclusive preview of what to expect at the upcoming festival, which takes over downtown Lowell next weekend, July 24-26.
