Still Seeking Volunteer Groups for July 2025
The Lowell Folk Festival returns July 25–27, 2025, and we’re still looking for service groups, Scout troops, fraternities, sororities, corporate teams, and union locals to join the volunteer force that brings this incredible weekend to life.
Every summer, thousands descend on downtown Lowell for one of the longest-running free folk festivals in the U.S., featuring unforgettable music, global eats, and hands-on traditional arts. What keeps it all running? You guessed it—volunteers. Lots of them.
We’re talking about:

Setting up tents and tables the week of July 21

Breaking it all down and helping with clean-up July 28–30

Delivering gear, guiding crowds, supporting performers, and more
This is your team’s chance to roll up together, do some good, and get a unique behind-the-scenes experience at one of New England’s favorite festivals.
