The Lowell Folk Festival tradition continues in 2010.

Thank you to everyone who participated in bringing the 24th Lowell Folk Festival to a successful conclusion!

The 2010 Lowell Folk Festival brought a diverse array of twenty-two traditional music and dance performers to the Festival. Folk arts and foodways were shared along Lucy Larcom Park… Fantastic ethnic foods were
prepared and consumed at JFK Plaza, Dutton Street Dance Pavilion, and Boarding House Park…  Local artists were to be found exhibiting and selling their work at Art in the Courtyard… Family-focused activities reigned along Shattuck Street… Lowell’s cultural organizations shared their offerings at Destination Lowell.

With downtown Lowell returned to its accustomed energetic hum, the glow of Festival memories echo throughout the year.

We are looking forward to the 25th Festival in 2011, and we hope you are too!
