Lucy Larcom Park Folklife Area Sat & Sun noon-5pm

This year’s foodways area echoes the folklife theme of coastal and inland traditions with foods that have ties to land or sea. Home cooks will talk about how they’ve adapted their traditions over time and place. Watch them assemble a recipe while sharing family stories and then sample the finished fare—from Lithuanian pickles to Caribbean and Asian dishes, rounded off with Southwest chili adapted to coastal Rhode Island.
